Jammu, Mar 29 Jammu Kashmir National Panther Party, in an executive meeting has demanded the full implementation of Common Minimum Programme which was agreed upon by the coalition partners. Panthers, chairman Bhim Singh, asked Congress chief Sonia Gandhi to intervene and end the bitter infighting among the coalition partners which has put the state administration into a flux. The committee warned Sonia Gandhi that any political concession to Mufti Mohd Sayeed in terms of de-militarization and self rule shall prove a disaster for secular-nationalist forces in the state and jeopardize national security and communal harmony. The committee said that deployment of the Army in the highly sensitive state where foreign terrorists are ruling the roost is the sole prerogataive of the defence ministry and not of a political party. In a statement issued here, Pathers Party said that appointment of a review committee on military strategy shall cause a threat to the security of the state and revive terrorism in the state. Those, who were present in the meeting included Faqir Nath, MLA, Naveen Bakshi, P K Ganju, vice presidents, Balwant Singh Mankotia, MLA and president, Young Panthers, Yashpal Kundal, MLA, Anita Thakur, S Daljit Singh and Bansi Lal Sharma, general secretaries, Ghulam Ali, state secretary and Jagdev Singh, coordination secretary.
