| Rifle, cash stolen from Govt employee’s house | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Mar 29 Last night thieves struck in the house of a government employee at Rajpura area in the location of police post Sarwal and stole a 12 bore rifle, cash and some other things from the house. According to reports, last night thieves struck in the house of one Padam Kumar, son of Santosh Kumar resident of Rajpura, and an employee of a 12 bore rifle, one mobile phone, three thousand rupees cash and a sword from his house and fled from the house. In the early morning, when family members realized that thieves had struck in the house, they immediately brought the matter into the notice of police. A police team along with the FSL team rushed to the spot and took finger print samples from the house. Police has registered a case in this regard and is investigating the matter. Sources said police has also picked some persons from the area and their interrogation is on as last report came.
