| 2 Bangladeshis arrested near border | | | Early Times Reporter

Village Defence Committee (VDC) members and local people of village Hariya Chak in Rajbagh area of Kathua Distt last night caught hold of two Bangladeshi nationals, when they were trying to enter Pakistan from this side.
According to reports, last night local villagers saw two persons wandering in the area in suspicious circumstances and they informed the police about the presence of two aliens in the area. Acting on this information, a police team from Rajbagh police station rushed to spot and arrested them near the border when they were trying to cross the border.
The arrested persons have been identified as Abdul Halim son of Abdul Qadir and Mohd Ashraf Hussain son of Mohd Akhtar Hussain both residents of Bangladesh. Police also recovered 850 rupees Pakistani currency from their possession. Police has also registered a case in this regard and investigating the matter.
