Jammu, Feb 2: President Pradesh Mahila Congress and MLA Indu Pawar today held several meeting of its women cadre at Debuchak, Tegu Chak, Chak Deva, Chak Gujjar, Haripur and Goale chak in Hiranagar.
These meetings were organized to strengthen the Mahila wing of Congress at grass root level. Pawar assured the workers that Congress is the only party which has specific programmes for empowerment of women in the society. Congress party has many plans and schemes for uplifting the economical conditions of women of rural area. These schemes have been implemented in many states and women folk is being benefitted there.
Pawar asked workers to meet regularly and bring out issues which require attention for the authorities competent to solve these. She further said that congress party without taken care of every part of our society without any discrimination and for peaceful development. |
