| Omar Govt example of worst failures on governance, administrative fronts: PDP | | | Early Times Report Udhampur, Feb 2: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Udhampur-Doda Lok Sabha seat Arshad Malik today flayed National Conference led coalition regime for ignoring far-flung and backward areas. Addressing series of public meetings at Gordi, Barmin and Nallah Kora, Dhanal, Sarsoo areas of Udhampur district, Malik said that during the last five years all developmental activities have been stalled as this government has failed to puruse development agenda of previous PDP led coalition government. He mentioned that construction of bridge was started in Gordi area during the tenure of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed but this regime has failed to complete the project. He further pointed towards non availability of health facilities in this belt. He said that having pushed Jammu and Kashmir into a state of political and governance morass, NC-led coalition government has exposed the State to the worst failures both on institutional and governance fronts and people now desperately want to get rid of this anarchist regime, sooner the better. He said NC has all along exploited the people on emotive slogans. He said plagued by ineptitude, disorder and corruption, the political structure of the present coalition government has completely collapsed resulting in the paralysis of the state's administrative structure as well. He said that National Conference (NC) has completely run out of people's confidence and it is time to formalize its exit from the State's political arena once and for all. "People must exercise their vote positively to rid the State of the party that symbolizes our miseries and misfortune," he said and added the NC leadership is fully aware that it has lost Jammu & Kashmir because of its wrong policies.
