208 Vehicles booked for traffic violation

In continuation of the drive launched by Doda Police against traffic violation, 208 more vehicles including 53 Matadors, 43 Motor cycles, 31 Buses, 14 Tata Sumos, 12 Trucks were booked for various traffic violations in different parts of the district.
The drivers / owners of these vehicles were found indulging in overloading, violating route permits and plying vehicles without documents. Necessary legal action against the drivers and the vehicle owners has been initiated.
In its drive, The Police have so far booked 1077 vehicles under different sections of Motor Vehicle Act. The drive against traffic violation will continue in the district, the officials said..
