Jammu, Feb 2: Sharda Sangeet Sadan, an institute of music in collaboration with Saraswati Sangeet Kala Mandir organised its annual function Vasant Utsav today at K L Saigal hall Jammu, with an aim to promote light, folk and classical music.
According to press release, the students of Sharda Sangeet Sadan performed in different streams of music programme commenced with the lighting of lap by the chief guest Pt. PN Raina, Prof Rita Jitendra, SN Sharma and Ravi Sharma and Satybhama Dubey (Chairperson Sharda Sangeet Sadan). Students who performed in saraswati vandana were Archana, Chitrakshi, Akshita, Sehar, Bhavan, Utkarsh, Sohini, Manya, Mishika, Ishita, Avni, Ridhi and Devarshi. Students performed on different Ragas, folk songs, Shlok, Tabla instrumental, casio presentation, Guitar performances, which were applauded by the audience. At the end Satybhama Dubey presented the annual report and vote of thanks. |
