Poonch, Feb 2: Prominent people including five panchayat members of Dara Dulliyan panchayat today joined Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), under the leadership of Shah Muhammad Tantray.
According to press release, a function was organized by the party workers in village Kuhwariyan under the president ship of PDP leader Amar Singh Josh. Speaking at the occasion SM Tantray said that the people at the helm of affairs had done nothing for the welfare of the public during the last 18 years.
"They have simply exploited the feelings of the public and even failed to provide the basic amenities like water, power, link roads and mobile phone services to them", he said, adding that Dara Dullian panchayat was a live example of such exploitation where the public was totally deprived off such basic rights.
The people of Kuhwariyan, Pothi, Mahar Kote, Jabri and Nabna villages are anxiously waiting for these basic facilities for a long time.
The persons who joined the party are Qazi Muhammad Zaman, Muhammad Lateef, Shah Muhammad, Haji Akbar, Haji Amin, Haji Aalim Din, Ch. Noor Din, Qazi Aziz Hussain, Ch. Qammar Din, Fayaz Hussain, Hassan Muhammad, Mir Hussain, Muhammad Rasheed Mir, Haji Muhammad Aksar, Nazir Hussain, Maqbool Hussain and Qazi Said Muhammad. |
