Poonch, Feb2: In a major development in Poonch, PDP ex Counselor Jhangir (Jungi) along with his supporters today joined National Conference in presence of Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Ajaz Ahmed Jan.
The persons who joined National Conference were full in praise for the MLA Ajaz Jaan for his revolutionary approach for the development of the area.
All the members collectively approached Ajaz Ahmed Jan, MLA Haveli at Ward number 2 and announced to join National Conference here today.
All of them expressed their satisfaction over the works initiated by MLA in the constituency and particularly in Mandi and Poonch area. They said that they have joined National Conference only for the MLA because he has shown tremendous work in the area. They added that Ajaz Jan has emerged as a strong leader in the area and he is best person to approach even Chief Minister.Meanwhile MLA received PDP ex Counselor Jhangir along with his supporters and prominent citizens and said that it is due to the policies of National Conference particularly Chief Minister Omar Abdullah that people are coming closer to the National Conference.
He said that government is serious to mitigate all problems of the people and he is always highlighting the issues of Poonch before him and various issues have been mitigated by the Chief Minister. |
