EARLY TIMES REPORTER DODA | MAR 29 Senior Superintendent of Police, Doda, Manohar Singh distributed financial assistance, released by Rajiv Gandhi Foundation, New Delhi, in favour of orphans of Kulhand massacre here today. The financial assistance was provided to 19 children from 11 families for attaining education under project Initiative to Education, Rehabilitate and Assist Child Victims of Terrorism (INTERACT). The cheques of the annual installment were handed over to their respective guardians at a simple function today. The beneficiaries included Gulabi Devi Wd/O Sunder Singh ,Bimla Devi Wd/O Saroop Ram, Gillow Devi Wd/O. Jagdish Raj , Hooma Devi Wd/O Qumar Singh, Bimla Devi Ed/O Sadhu Ram, Bimla Devi Wd/O Gopi Chand, Sumla Devi Wd/O Ram Raj, Sushma Devi Wd/O Maghar Singh, Rita Devi Wd/O Balwant Singh, Shakuntla Devi Wd/O Pritam Singh and Silma Devi Wd/O Satish Kumar As per norms of support under INTERACT this assistance is provided to orphan children for school fee, books uniforms and general maintenance. This support allowance is decided on the basis of the economic status of the family.
