| Cultural feast marks Annual Day celebration | | |

Shanti Swaroop Memorial Jammu Public School today celebrated its 17th Annual Day function on a Colorful note at Abhinav Theatre.
Function commenced with the traditional lightening of Lamp by Mangat Ram Sharma MOS of Health and Medical Education was the Chief guest on the occasion along with Rafiq Masoodi, Secretary J&K Academy of Art, Culture and languages. The actual function started with the ‘Saraswati Vandana” followed by Bhangra and Kathak.
The cultural items presented by student’s depicted the rich heritage and integrity of the nation. All the items were highly appreciated by one and all.
Speaking on the occasion, Mangat Ram Sharma highly appreciated the cultural programme.
He also congratulated the principal, the staff and the students for their tireless efforts and endeavors in the field of academics.
Kusum Bhatia, Managing Director of the school then gave the vote of thanks and studied the annual reports of the school. She expressed her satisfaction over the progress made by the school not only in Academics but also in the field of reports. Later prizes were given away to the meritorious students in the field of c0-curricular activities and academics.
