| SVO receives 2594 complaints | | |
The Minister for Animal Husbandry Mr. Taj Mohi-ud-Din on behalf of Chief Minister informed the Legislative Council that Vigilance Organization has received 2594 complaints from January to June 2006.
Replying to a question of Mr. G. N. Shaheen, the Minister said 40 FIRs have been registered by the State Vigilance Organization during this period. He said out of the complaints received during this period enquires have been initiated in 1226 cases whereas the remaining complaints were found to be vogue, unspecific and anonymous on which no action could be taken and have been filed by the Vigilance Organization. |
