| Jugal hails Azad’s demilitarization perspective | | | Jammu, Mar 31 Hailing Chief Minister’s firm determination regarding demilitarization and ruling out any kind of troops reduction in the state till peace process gets complete roots, Minister for Rural Development Jugal Kishore Sharma said that upholding this issue by central leadership has given categorical message to every one that on the national interest there can’t be any compromise even though heavy pressure tactics be set in force. He said the state under the leadership of Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad in a short span of 17 months has made history and record achievements have been registered in every field. He said people for the first time started to reap the fruits of people centric policies of the government and accountable administration with new work culture born under visionary leadership of Azad. He said roundtable conferences and meetings of working groups along with extensive dialogue process with Pakistan at various levels during this period marked significant headway in peace process. “Everything was going on beautifully and smoothly but unfortunately a party raised uncalled for issues diverting attention from peace and development towards emotional and rigid approach”. Now it has received the reply. He hoped that better sense will prevail and such sensitive issues would not be raised for political mileage.
