Juhi Chawla says neither her daughter nor
her son is interested in pursuing a career in
filmdom when they grow up. The actress, who is married to businessman Jay Mehta, has daughter Jhanvi, who was born in 2001, and son Arjun born in 2003. "If they wanted it (to get into acting), I would say 'Of course, do it'! But at this moment, they don't look like they want it. I have to come to terms with that. You can't put out your dreams to another little child," said the actress.
Juhi said she wants them to be culturally inclined.
"I want my kids to learn dance and music, but she (Jhanvi) barely watches Hindi films. She is into her books, she loves history and she is going to become a writer," added the 46-year-old. |
