| Sant Gurbaksh Singh ji Danna remembered | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu Feb 14 : A Gurmat Samagam dedicated to memory of Late Sant Gurbaksh Singh Ji Danna (A Religious & Social Dignitary of J&K Sikhs) was organized by Sant Tejwant Singh Ji Mukh Sewadar Dera Sant Pura Danna and chairman Sant pura Dana Charitable Trust at Gurudwara Guru Arjun Dev Ji Domana (Akhnoor Road Jammu) in which huge gathering of sangat from all parts of J&K and other states participated and expressed their soliditary and support for Sant Tejwant Singh Ji's efforts for preaching sikh religion. Giani Jagtar Singh Ji Dy. Head priest Shri Darbar Sahib Amritsar and prominent sikh preacher while addressing the gathering stressed for dedication and devotion towards Shabad Guru Granth Sahib, its teachings and Sikh Rehat Maryada of Shri Akal Takth Sahib. Singh Sahib lauded the contribution of late Sant Gurbaksh Singh Ji and role of Sant Tejwant Singh Ji as a preacher and their commitment for Sikh Rehat Maryada. Giani Jagtar Singh Ji also read the message of Jathadar Shri Akal Takth Sahib Giani Gurbachan Singh Ji Khalsa who also lauded the role of Sant Ji and cautioned the J&K Sikhs that certain forces are trying to weaken the authority of Shri Akal Takht Sahib. Ragi Jathas of Bhai Shokeen Singh Ji Hazoori Ragi Shri Darbar Sahib Amritsar, Dhadi Jatha of Bhai Amrik Singh Pathankot and many local Ragi Jathas and preachers recited shabad Kirtan & addressed the gathering. On this occasion Member Parliament Sh. Madan Lal Sharma, Cabinet Ministers Sh. Ajay Sadhotra, , MLA Domana Sh. Bharat Bhushan, Sh. Manmohan Choudhary Ex Mayor President J&K Jatt Sabha S. Gurmukh Singh (Ex-Minister), Advocate Surinder Singh, S. Narinder Singh Khalsa, S. Harcharan Singh Khalsa, and S. Charanjit Singh Khalsa addressed the gathering. All the speakers lauded the contribution of late Sant Gurbaksh Singh Dana and Sant Tejwant Singh Ji in the field of Gurmat parchar and their devotion for the welfare of sikh community and entire humanity in J&K. on this occasion speakers also paid rich tributes to Bhagat Ravi Dass Ji on his birthday Anniversary today. Guru Ka Langar (common Kitchen) which was donated by S. Joginder Singh Bali of Hongkong, was also served in which large number of Hindus and Muslims of Domana locality participated alongwith large gathering of sikh sangat. |
