PDP to contact Youth at booth level: Manhas

Jammu, Feb 14 : To make youth aware about the anti youth policies of the NC-Congress regime, People’s Democratic Party youth wing is going to start a contact campaign "Youth at Booth level".
Vice President of the Youth Wing, Rajender Manhas while chairing the meeting of the office beares of the wing said that during the present regime youth of the state feels most neglected and victimized by the policies of the Coalition Govt.
Manhas said the youth of state have all the capabilities and potential to get the state out of present morass, but all they need is encouragement and support to deliver. He said the real empowerment of youth lay in providing them, respectable opportunities, secure environment to work and the PDP envisions involving them in a more decent way to help in bringing about an overall change in the system.
Manhas said corruption, mis-governance and anarchy prevailing in the state is all because of the ineptness of National Conference's to deliver, which are hardly bothered about the people's issues and aspirations. Alleging the corruption is enjoying a political patronage under the NC leadership, he said the institutions which are responsible to bring about probity in public life, in the state, have been systematically eroded by the present dispensation.
He said youth are well aware about the politicking and befooling tactics of NC, and only they (youth) will teach them a lesson for their acts of omissions and commissions and will clear their accounts and expose their frauds.
He said PDP, with the help of renowned economists, thinkers and professionals, has devised a comprehensive plan and strategy for the welfare and empowerment of young population, who have faced maximum brunt of the turbulent times, and NC's deceitful politics over the years.
He said this year offers a challenge and opportunity for people, particularly youth to get involved in the democratic process and help trusted, tested and sincere leadership to make things happen better for them and for the state.
He said to aware the youth, committees at the Booth level be formed and these committees will contact the Young voters of respective and will educate them about the policies and programmes of the PDP and also to apprise them about the failures and mis-governance of the present NC-Congress regime which is governing the state for the last 5 years.
He said that during compact campaign the main emphasis will be to target the new recruitment policy of this government due to which the youth of this state are feeling alienated besides rampant corruption prevailing in the state. He said that the youth will be urged to vote for PDP to get rid of the present coalition Govt. Gureedp Singh Pandey, State Secretary Youth wing, Pardeepal Singh Chib, Varinder Singh Sonu, District President, Davinder Singh, Mohan Singh, Dimple kumar, Harsh, Neeraj Chandel, vinod Gupta, Abhijeet Singh, Jodh Singh Saini, Sehdev Singh Thakur and others were present in the meeting.
