| Bajrang activists arrested on 'Valentine Day' | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Feb 14: Bajrang Dal activists including its convener and co -convener were arrested by police as a preventive measure on the Valentine Day.
The arrested including Kartik Sudan, Aman Kumar ,Mangu and State co-convener Rakesh Sharma who was picked from his residence at early in the morning by Bakshi Nagar Police.
The crackdown on Bajrang Dal activists following Bajrang Dal proposed to organized peaceful march under the leadership of Kartik Sudan from Shakti Ashram, Old Rehari to Bagh-E-Bahu to make the youth aware of the evils of the Valentine Day.
Later, Bajrang Dal issued press note stating that police did not allow Bajrangi to start the march at Shakti Ashram and Lathicharged on the peaceful protestors in which number of Bajrangi were injured.
Condemning the action of the police, they demanded that the arrested Bajrangi would be immediately released. Aprt from this they have demanded senior police authorities to take action against the Police Personnel. |
