One held for bovine smuggling in Udhampur 2/14/2014 11:11:45 PM Et Report Udhampur, Feb 14 : Udhampur police foiled a bovine smuggling bid, rescued 4 bovines and arrested one bovine smuggler. Police spokesman said that based on a specific information, a Police party of Police Station Kud raised a special naka at National Highway near Kud and intercepted a bovine animal loaded load carrier bearing registration number JK18-6296 and recovered 04 bovine animals which were being smuggled to Kashmir valley. The arrested bovine smuggler has been identified as Muzaffar Rashid of Dooru Anantnag and vehicle used in the crime was also seized.
