| Guru Ravi Dass Maharaj Jayanti celebrated with religious fervour | | | Early times report
Kathua, Feb 14: 637th Birth Anniversary of Shri Guru Ravi Dass Maharaja Ji is celebrated with religious ferviur by the Shri Guru Ravi Dass Sabha in the temple of Guru Ravi Dass Ji near old Bus-Stand at Kathua here today.
A large number of devotees were offered prayers and joined the sat-sang. A langar was also arranged by the Sabha for devotees in the premises of Temple. The Sabha spokesperson greeted the people of the district Kathua and state and prayed the Guru Ji for establishment of peace and development in the human society and said that thousands of devotees from within and outside the District visit this sacred Mandir to pay their obeisance. Sabha also threw light on the life of Guru Ji and told that Jagat Satguru Ravidass Ji was born in Varanasi then 'Kashi' in the year 1377 AD (Bikrami Samvat-Magh Sudi 15, 1433). To pay their obeisance at the temple, large number of senior citizens of the Kathua was also present in which District President of Karnati Dal, Kathua, and Advocate Sushil Gupta, JKPCC secretary Sardar Manohar Singh, and NC District President Dhian Chand were the main figures.
