Army organizes 'Dingri farming programme' at Argi-Kalakote

Jammu, Feb 14: Rashtriya Rifles Battalion, based at Kalakote, under Uniform Force, facilitated training programme on Dingri mushroom for the farmers of rural areas at Argi.
"Dingri is very sturdy variety of mushroom which requires very little effort and maintenance, army spokesperson said further adding, "training programme was conducted by the experts from Regional Agricultural Research Society (RARS), Sher-e-Kashmir University, Rajouri, which was coordinated by the Rashtriya Rifles Battalion on the request of locals."
"Dr Sanjay Tandon, HOD and Dr Rakesh, Assistant Professor at RARS conducted the training programme, he said and added that atleast 20 farmers attended the programme. Sarpanch of Argi and Baljarallan also attended this programme and appreciated the efforts.
