| HC denies bail to former Supdtt Jail | | Supari killing case | | ET Report
Jammu, Feb 14 : Justice Janak Raj Kotwal of J&K High Court Jammu Wing disposed of the bail application filed by Saleem Beigh Former Supt Kot-Bhalwal Jail with the direction to file fresh application in the trial court. According to case during investigation Suresh Kumar alias Tunda and Accused Akram Khan, Jatinder Kumar alias Bilu both r/o Nowshera were arrested on December 2 & 3, 2010 during investigation they disclosed that for killing of Sudershan Singh Waizr, Jagar Singh had paid advance Rs 50,000 through Surinder Singh alias Shantu. The main Challan was presented on January 29, 2011 and seeking General Arrest Warrants against Sunny Choudhary u/s 512 CrPC. Later he was arrested by the Jhajjar Kotli Police under 3/25 Arms Act. During investigation Sunny Choudhary disclosed that when he was in Central Jail Kot-Bhalwal Jammu contacted through an employee of Jail namely Surinder Kumar who introduced with Nagar Singh who was also in the central Jail at that time where accused Saleem Beigh was Supt. Accused Nagar Singh asked Sunny Choudhary to kill the Sudershan Singh Wazir who is active in the Amandeep Murder case, so kill him and for this Rs 50 lacs has been settled. Surinder Kumar told that he had got Rs 50 lacs out of which 15 lac in the presence of Saleem Beigh and Harmeet Singh was paid to Sunny Choudhary as advance. While disposed of the bail application with the observations that the direction that this bail application is disposed of providing that, dismissal of earlier bail application by the Trial Court notwithstanding, petitioner may apply fresh and the trial court shall accord consideration to the application having regard to the evidence recorded/proposed to be recorded and dispose of the application in light of observations made by a speaking order indicating the reasons for granting or refusing the bail.(JNF) |
