| HM Hideout busted in Pulwama | | | Pulwama, Mar 31 A joint team of Jammu Kashmir police and troops of 166 Bn CRPF today busted a hideout in an orchard at Shopian, while Rashtriya Riffles climed to have recovered UBGL riffle and grenades from Tral area of Pulwama, here today. Informed sources told News Agency of Kashmir that troops of 166 CRPF and police personnel on specific information cordoned off an orchard believed to be the hideout of HM militant outfit, after searching the premises dug out huge store of food grains. According to SSP Pulwama an underground hideout was located in the orchard of one Basharat Ahmad Bhat son of Mohd Amin resident of Saidepora Shopian, which was busted by Police and 166 Bn. of CRPF during joint operation. “The hideout was being used by the HM militant for the last two years”, a police officer told NAK. During search 2 Qtls of Rice, 1 Qtl Atta, some Blankets and other eatable items were recovered from the hideout. Meanwhile, 50 RR conducted search operation at higher reaches of village Pastuna in Tral area of Pulwama of south Kashmir and recovered 03-UBGL grenade, 01-UBGL and 02 Chinese grenades. Two separate cases have been registered in this regard at the concerned police stations of Pulwama district.
