| 1 die, 8 injure in separate road accidents | | |

At least one person died and eight others were injured, two of them critically in separate road accidents across the valley during the last twenty four hours.
Official sources told News Agency of Kashmir that a Motor Cycle bearing registration number 7920/JK13 hit and injured a pedestrian in Patlibagh area of Pampore here this morning.
Identified as Ab Samad Ganie son of Mohd Khazir resident of Patlibagh at Patlibagh Pampore was shifted to SKIMS where doctors attending him declared him as brought dead.
In another accident a Motor Cycle driver Sajid Ahmad resident of Baba Mohalla Shopian and his co-rider namely Bilal Ahmad Lone resident of Kulgam also got injured, who have been shifted to Srinagar for treatment.
In yet another accident a vehicle bearing registration number 6396/JK01D hit and injured a pedestrian Gh. Nabi Mir son of Fata Mir resident of Sagam Chadoora.The injured has been hospitalized.
Meanwhile, a TATA Mini Bus bearing registration number 9454/JK02 turned turtle at Narpora Nowgam in Chadoora area of Budgam district, resulting injuries to 05 passengers, who have been hospitalized.
Police has registered separate cases at respective police stations.
