| Seminar on Punjabi short stories organized at K.L. Sehgal Hall | | | Punjabi Adbi sangat in collaboration with Nammi Dogri Sansatha Jammu organized a seminar on Punjabi short stories of various writers of J&k State. The seminar was presided over by eminent journalist Ved Bhasin, the chairman, Kashmir Times Group of publications.
P.S. Betab IAS was the chief guest accompanied by Dr. Rafiq Masoodi, Secretary J&K Academy of Art, culture and Languages.
The program held in two sessions, in which six papers were presented by Dr. Davinder Kour, Dr. Baljeet Riar, Dr. Gunwant Singh, Dr. Rajinder Kour, Dr. Naresh Kumar and Dr. Vishal Kumar of Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar.
DR. Rafiq Masoodi in his speech said that the tireless efforts of Punjabi Adbi sangat were laudable. He congratulated the PAS for holding such a successful seminar in Jammu.
P.S. Betab appreciated the sincere efforts of PAS towards development of Punjabi literature and languages. He also applauded the Punjabi fiction writers of the state.
Ved Bhasin in his speech praised the PAS organization. He also appreciated the papers read out by the Punjabi scholars of Guru Nanak Dev University and expressed hope that such positive steps will ensure a respectable place for Punjabi literature of J&K state.
