| RTI activist alleges CAPD Deptt for denying information | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Feb 24: An RTI activist and social worker Paramjit Singh Gurain alleged that Food and Supply Department Kathua has denied the information in case of distribution of kerosene ward wise. He alleged that "Food and Supply Department" Kathua of violating RTI by refusing to disclose the information that was demanded as per the RTI regarding the detail of ward wise kerosene depots in Kathua town.
He said that for the last many years, the black marketing of Kerosene oil is on peak and the innocent consumers are forced to facing the crisis of the Kerosene oil but the concerned department Food and Supply is totally failed to address the problem of black-marketing and the officials whenever were made aware about the facts by the consumer they tried to hold the lame excuses and to convince the complainant with their irrational and unjustified ways Gurain Said.
He told that "I have been fighting for the last many months with the corruption and with CAPD department.
To get the information of some important details regarding the ward wise kerosene oil depots with name and address, I filed RTI and submitted to the office of CAPD at Kathua but did not get any reply. |
