| Lok Adalat held at Gandoh | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Feb 24: Under the administrative guidance of Principal District Judge Bhaderwah MK Sharma, a Lok Adalat was organized in the premises of Munsiff court complex Gandoh Bhalessa today which was presided over by Sandeep Sen Chairman Tehsil Legal Service Committee and Munsiff Gandoh Bhalessa. As many as 15 cases of civil and criminal nature were taken up in the Lok Adalat out of which 8 cases were disposed off on the spot through mediation, conciliation and negotiation. Traffic challans in addition were also taken up and all of them were disposed off with a recovery of compounding fee of Rs 2350 on the spot. Lok Adalat witnessed a cheering response from litigants who come forward to settle there long pending disputes escaping the ruinous cost of litigation and technical problems.
Tehsildar Gandoh Jony Kumar and Advocates as well as members of Tehsil Legal Service Committee attended the Lok Adalat.
