| Charak visits Vijaypur areas | | MLA Hazratbal calls on Charak, lists demand | |
JAMMU, April 02
Member Legislative Assembly, Hazratbal Mr. Mohammad Sayeed Akhoon today called on the Minister for Roads and buildings Mr. Gulchain Singh Charak and listed a charter of demands of his constituency and threadbare discussion were held regarding early completion of Ashiabagh, Saidakadal and Tailbal bridges, repairs and renovation of roads and link roads.
Responding his demands, Mr. Charak said that the work on construction of two bridges namely Aishabagh and Saidakadal are in the final stage and would be completed within two months while as the work on Tail bal bridge is in full swing.
The Minister said that the repairs and renovation of roads would be taken up in a phased manner. Mr. Charak asked the MLA to come up with the comprehensive proposals identifying the roads to be taken up on priority basis.
Later, the Minister also visited various areas of Vijaypur including Koulpur, Nanga, Kmore and Bandhral and interacted with the people in order to collect information regarding their problems related to various socio-economic areas of life. He was apprised about such problems to which he responded by assuring them of speedy and genuine redressal from the government.
Mr. Charak gave assurance to the people of the area that Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad, in order to have a ready and on spot view of the condition of social infrastructure would in near future visit the area in person.
