Kathua, Feb 24: Safai Karamcharis Union took out protest demonstration against the nonchalant attitude of Administration of Kathua Municipal Council.
The procession joined by hundreds of safai karamcharis of the Kathua Municipal Council which started from the premises of KMC under the leadership of Union president Sawan Chidda roamed around the town with high sounding slogans " Hamari Mange Puri Karo" ( to meet out our demands) and " Safai Karamcharis Ko Sathahai Karo"( To regularize the safai karamcharis).
While making the Administration's warning notice as scrap, the president of the union alleged that the administration on the direction of state government has tried to sabotage our ongoing agitation which is peaceful and in democratic way, and we the karamcharis have democratic and constitutional right to go on strike if the rights are not ignored.
