| Cabinet fixes one year limit for extension, re-employment | | |
Jammu, April 02
Cabinet which met here on Saturday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad has decided that extension in government service and re-employment of a retired government servant shall be for a maximum period of one year. This decision shall apply retrospectively to existing cases also where extension, re-employment has been granted beyond one year. All such cases will be reviewed accordingly. The decision, however, shall not have effect on the constitutional, statutory appointments.
