| Young girl kidnapped, raped several times | | |

A young girl was reportedly kidnapped and raped several times by three youths during the last night in an isolated place at village Tarkwal under the jurisdiction of Police Station Akhnoor. Meanwhile, Police has registered case in this regard and launched a hunt to nab the culprits but no arrests were made so far.
According to reports, a young girl namely Meenakshi (name changed) of Tarkwal registered a complaint in Police Station Akhnoor alleging therein that three youth namely Nanku, son of Bua Ditta of Sunel, Sethi, son of Pamu Dev and Ajay Kumar residents of Tarkwal kidnapped and took her to a lonely place where they forcibly raped her throughout the night. Today morning she managed to reach back home where she narrated the entire episode to her family members and they took her to the Police Station. Meanwhile, Police has registered a case in this regard under section 376 RPC under FIR no 47/2007 and launched a hunt to nab the accused. But, none of the accused has been arrested till report last came in.
