| PDP leaders visit Kakroo's house, condemn killing | | |

Former Minister and PDP MLA, Ghulam Hassan Mir today visited the house of slain Congress leader and Industrialist Jaan Muhammad Kakroo and expressed his sympathies with the bereaved family. He was accompanied by senior PDP leaders Syed Basharat Bukhari MLC and Ghulam Qadir Pardesi.
The leaders strongly condemned the brutal killing of Kakroo and termed it a handiwork of frustrated elements who are hell bent to continue the status quo in the State though there is a general feeling that the present violence and political killings must be stopped.
They said that the peace process initiated by India and Pakistan to find a lasting solution to the vexed Kashmir problem cannot be derailed by such cowardly incidents. They stressed that the peace process must reach its logical conclusion and they emphasized that such incidents and elements doesn't find any room in the society and people get relieved out it.
The PDP leaders paid rich tributes to the slain leader and expressed solidarity with his family and prayed for his eternal peace.
