| Cache recovered | | | Jammu, April 3
Troops of 48 Rashtriya Rifles (GARH RIFLES) under the aegis of 13 Sector Rashtriya Rifles, today, recovered a huge quantity of arms, ammunition in general area Huli Nala (Darhal). The cache recovered by 48 Rashtriya Rifles comprises of ten 84 HE Hand Grenades, one small Hand Grenade, one Radio Set Kenwood with antenna , huge quantity of ammunition and warlike stores.
In another incident, Security Forces recovered another cache from General Area Tanki (Banihal) today. The recovered cache comprises of one Radio Set ICOM, One Chinese Hand Grenade, and other warlike stores, said a PIB (Defence Wing) release.
Meanwhile, based on specific information, Security Forces apprehended one local militant at Dorimal on 02 April 2007. The apprehended militant has been identified as Md Farooq, a local militant of LeT Tanzeem. Two AK-56 Rifles were recovered from apprehended militant. Militant has been handed over to Gursai Police Station at Mendhar. |
