Strengthen hands of Azad in translating dream of khushal state: Charak

Jammu, April 03
Minister for Roads and Buildings, Mr. Gulchain Singh Charak has laid foundation stone of Kanyala to Mukwal road in block Dansal today. The road would be completed at a cost of Rs.67.12 lakh and would benefit about 5000 souls of the six villages including Kanyala, Karal, Madeen, Nagola, Sanger and Badga and also adjoining hamlets of these villages.
The Member Parliament Mr. Madan Lal Sharma and MLA Mr. Jugal Kishore were present on the occasion.
Addressing the public gathering Mr. Charak said that the policy of the present government is not only to lay foundation stones of various developmental works at different places of the state, but we believe in practical work to be undertaken on the ground level, aimed at benefiting the masses of the area concerned. Mere appeasement cannot solve the problems, adding that the people at large should feel in real sense that government is determined to accelerate the pace of progress on various developmental fronts. He said after completion of the said road it would benefit to the people to reach Railway Station Sangar.
Referring to leadership and determination of the dynamic Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad, Mr. Charak said that the process of crushing corrupt elements in the state is gaining momentum day by day and the administration is showing responsible attitude towards solving peoples problem. Stressing for judicious utilization of funds, the minister directed the concerned officers to ensure quality work executed and at the some time made proper use of funds and develop a mechanism of supervisions and monitoring system.
Hailing the steps being taken by the present government in every sphere of life, Mr. Charak called upon one and all to strengthen the hands of Chief Minister and play a constructive role in helping the administration to implement various schemes of development in urban, rural and in remote areas of the state.
Mr. Charak while appreciating the work of several government functionaries for rendering undaunted efforts in mitigating the grievances of the people advocated for encouraging reasonably such officers but at the some time stressed for punishing the erring officials who are found involved in mis-appropriation of funds and corrupt practices.
Member Parliament Mr. Madan Lal Sharma on this occasion said that present government has initiated various steps for eradication of illiteracy and un-employment crises. In this connection Mr. Sharma highlighted, the recent steps which include creation of 8 new districts, implementation of Roshni Act, establishment of Financial Commission, and other major activities.
Chief Engineer Roads and Buildings Mr. M.M. Sharma, Executive Engineer Roads and Buildings construction division-II Mr. K. D. Salalia and General Secretary Congress Block Dansal, Mr. Vinod Sharma were accompanied the Minister.
