Jammu, Mar 6: Natraj Natya Kunj, Cultural Society , Jammu today released two Dogri books written by Kumar A. Bharti , prominent writer and director at Studio Ranglok , Bakshi Nagar, Jammu. On the occasion Dr. H. K. Bhagat and Dr. Sudhir Mahajan were Chief Guest and Guest of honours respectively. Sham Raina veteran writer and critic presided over the function.
The Dogri books released were "Jammu Di Anmulli Lok Virasat" and "Chal Mere Harna Tichak Toon". The first book is a collection of articles related to our rich Dogra heritage including Haran, Jater ,Lok Sanskriti etc. Second book is a Dogri folk play, which is based on Dogri folk form 'Haran'.
Speaking on the occasion Sham Raina said that these two books will help our young generation to understand and learn about our values, rich Dogra traditions and different folk forms of Dogra region. Dr. Sudhir Mahajan appreciated the efforts of Kumar A. Bharti and said that such type of book should be written, which will enrich Dogri literature . These books will help the people to know about our rich cultural heritage. |
