| Criminal held with country made pistol, live rounds | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 6: Police claimed to have arrested a criminal from Digiana locality and recovered a country made pistol (Katta) alongwith six live rounds from his possession here today.
"The accused has been identified as Sonu Kumar son of Vimal Singh of Digiana, police sources said. As per reports, the catch was made by the police following an inputs about the movement of a criminal in the area with an objective to execute the plan of killing his rival. "The accused has been working as barber in the area, they added. Police sources said that the accused has been put on interrogating to know from where he managed the fire arm/ weapon. Meanwhile, police sources said that more arrests and recoveries are expected on the disclosures of the accused. |
