Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 6: Making a fervent appeal to vote and support BJP in the forthcoming general election, BJP State President Jugal Kishore Sharma, who is also party's candidate for Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary Constituency, while addressing by a series of public meetings in Suchetgarh, R.S.Pura, Bishnah, Arnia, Salehar, Biaspur and Miran Sahib on Thursday, said that the Congress is responsible for the plight of the refugees, farmers, poor and border people in Jammu province.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, alongwith his colleague MLAs-Sham Choudhary and Prof. Gharu Ram, who was on his day long tour of these areas to address public meetings in connection with forthcoming election, said that enough is enough and the time has come when Congress should be shown the door for its anti-people, anti-poor, anti-refugees and anti-farmers policies and bring in BJP to end the dark chapter in the lives of these sections.
He said that today even after 65 years of independence, the refugees have not been granted citizenship rights, the farmers and border people are deprived of means of satisfactory communication network, healthcare & educational facilities. Border people still live under shadow of fear as Pakistan every now and then target them through infiltration and firing. Precious lives, crops and property is damaged but only hollow promises are made and no adequate compensation has ever been made. No effective steps have been taken to ensure safety and security of people.
Sham Choudhary and Prof. Gharu ram, in their addresses, said that when the elections are on corner the Congress leaders wake up and make one promise after other to bring revolution for the refugees, poor and border people but forget the same till next elections. The people have
realized that Congress cannot be trusted anymore and are now openly supporting BJP and its Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi as they have seen a ray of real hope in Modi.
