| NBCC creating problems for people: Yudhvir Sethi | | |

Jammu, Mar 14 : BJP Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary Constituency Convenor & BJYM State Prabhari Yudhvir Sethi, while expressing concern over the working of NBCC, said that the department should first complete the works of digging, laying of pipes, properly leveling and fixing tiles etc. in lanes and joining streets suitable for safe use before taking into hand other similar works in other areas.
He said that the people residing in Pacca Danga, Khilona Wali Gali and inner lanes of Dhounthali, have been taking rounds of the NBCC officials with the genuine requests that their lanes be repaired properly so that public movement is not risky but no one is listening to them for the last six months.
Yudhvir Sethi, who visited the affected areas with a team of the officials of NBCC and PHE to personally show them the condition of the lanes and the sufferings of the people in day to day life, said that a thousands of people residing in the said localities are suffering on account of the worst condition of lanes and bi-lanes of their areas which has been dugged by the NBCC for laying of pipes.
He said that any developmental work taken into hand should be executed in such a way that it does not creates hurdles in the smooth movement of the people.
These works should be completed in fixed time and only them next works should be taken into hand.
Sethi asked the officials of NBCC to not test the patience of the suffering people and immediately take up the incomplete work so that the lanes are made suitable for safe movement.
Besides, NBCC and PHE officials, Pappu Sardar, Kuldeep Raj, S.Ajit Singh, Sunny Kumar also accompanied Yudhvir Sethi. |
