Narco smuggler held with 1kg Charas 3/14/2014 11:26:27 PM Early Times Report Udhampur, Mar 14: Police claimed to have arrested a narcotic smuggler besides recovering about one kilogram of Charas (cannabis) from his possession during a naka laid along National Highway NH-1A in Udhampur here today. Police said, "The accused has been identified namely as Ravi Kumar s/o Bansi Lal of village Krimachi, Mansar." Following specific information about a bid to smuggle narcotics, police said and added, "Udhampur police led by SHO Mahesh Sharma, laid a naka on National Highway intercepted a youth on way to Jammu and during his frisking police recovered a consignment of one kilogram Charas from his possession." The accused was arrested on spot, police said.
