Darhal, Mar 14: Continuing its attack on present regime, Senior PDP leader and party candidate for Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha seat Yash Pal Sharma, MLC today said that National Conference-Congress coalition government in the State has become a symbol of repression, anarchy, economic subjugation, corruption and misrule. Addressing series of public meetings at Manohar Grata, Kotranka of Darhal Assembly Segment, PDP leader said given the alarming number of scams tumbling out of the coalition government's cupboard, the present dispensation has earned the dubious distinction of being not only an incompetent but a scandalous government as well. While the state's hapless people have facing hardship due to wrong policies of the present regime, Sharma said, "Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and his ministers are busy playing to the galleries through contrived melodramatics and rhetorical outbursts and to its sharp contrast during the last five years this regime has done nothing to solve probles of the people.
MLA Darhal Ch Zulfikar in his address said that the present coalition government headed by NC and Congress till now has taken the people of Rajouri-Poonch on ride in the name of employment, development and other sectors. Now, he said, "an anger is brewing among people of this belt due to anti people policies adopted by this government against this belt.' Ab Qayoom Dar, Munshi Alam Din, Master Prem Sharma, Haji Mir, Sayeed Mnajoor Shah, Ch Shafiq, Ch Sadiq Chuahan, Thakur Wazir Singh and others were also present in these meetings.
