PDP Youth wing holds protest in support of stranded passengers

JAMMU, Mar 14: Activists of Youth wing of Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP) under the leadership of vice president Rajinder Singh Manhas today held demonstration against failure of the State Government to solve problems of the erstwhile Doda District bound passengers stranded at Jammu. Activists of PDP youth wing demanded that authorities should take some emergent steps to provide food and shelter to the passengers who have been struck up at Jammu because highway has been blocked due to heavy snowfall.
They said that failure of the state government to restore movement of traffic on national highway. It was result of the protest that Tehsildar Jammu reached there and directed to arrange food and open the rooms of JDA hall at Bus Stand for the stranded passengers. Rajinder Singh Manhas, Vikram Singh, Garish Sharma, Rajinder Chib, Balbir Singh,Vishal, Vikram Bisht, Tahir and others addressed the stranded passengers.
