JAMMU, Mar 15: Jammu and Kashmir Police, Arin Bhaderwah, Jammu Jymkhana and Singh Cricket Club today entered the second round of the ongoing 3rd Police Martyrs' Cricket Tournament, organized by Zonal Police Headquarters under Civic Action Programme at different venues, here. Earlier, in the first match, JKP XI defeated Sai Cricket Club by seven wickets. Batting first, Sai Cricket XI bowled out for 85 runs in 19 overs. In reply, JKP chased the target in just 11.1 overs losing three wickets. Avinash of JKP declared man of the match. In another match, Arin Bhaderwah XI scripted win against Danishbad Rajouri. Arin Bhaderwah set a target of 148 runs for seven wickets, which in reply, Rajouri Club could not chase and exhausted their quota of overs for 142 runs for seven wickets. Habib adjudged man of the match. Jammu Jymkhana also won their tie against KC Sports Club beating latter by nine wickets. Batting first, KC Club made scored 106 runs. In reply, Jammu Zymkhana chased the target in 14.4 overs losing only wicket of Jagandeep, who made 41-ball 51 runs. Later, Jagandeep was named man of the match. In another scheduled match, Singh Club Akhnoor trounced Jammu Cricket Club (JCC) by six wickets. Batting first, JCC scored 114 runs losing all their wickets. Later, Singh Club attained the goal in 17 overs losing four wickets Rahul bagged man of the match trophy. |
