Jammu, Mar 15 : All J&K Retired NGO Police Personal Forum discussed the problem faced by retired police personals today in a meeting held under the leadership of S. Ajit Singh, president of Forum. Singh said that they are struggling for the pay anomalies to fifty pay commission Constable to SBI and some other proble faced by them. He said that from 1996 onwards pay anomaly is continuing right from the rank of constable to ASI'S in 5th pay commission when SRO/14 became applicable, PHQ has informed the commissioner Security, Home Department and commissioner Security, Finance Department time to time. After eleven years of patience in 2007, a writ was admitted in High court vide No.SWP 203/2007 on 02.04. 2009, a decision was given by High court in favour of Police Employees instructing the Police Department to gives the effect of SRO/ 14 within four months. He alleged that department did not do anything regarding this. He further said that in 2009 a contempt No. 227/2009 was given by the employees in High Court, Again the High Court gave 2 months time to the Accounts Department for activating SRO/14. But Finance Commissioner Iqbal Khandey in 2012 again the approval in favour of employees and Pay anomaly committee forwarded the approval to Finance Minister Abdul Rahim Rather. Now, from the last one year the file is lying unattended the table of Rather for approval. Forum demanded that reservation facility for children of R.P.P.F should be provided including job/ recruitment for children, health facilities be facilitated in proper way and treatment of R.P.P.F should be free of cost and 10 beds should also be reserved in J&K Police Hospital, for marriage of daughters of R.P.P.F, D.G.F should provide Rs. Fifty thousand rupees, cremation of R.P.P.F should be done with full honour & respect just like Army and one rank and one pension in the pattern of Army. Ajit Singh, Zakir Hussain, Mohd. Mashqoor, Hari Singh, Mohd. Sharif, Hoshanak Chand Sharma, Rather Lal Khajuria, Bihari Lal, S. Jaswant Singh, Madan Lal, Hardev Singh, Ramneek Singh, Bhagil Singh, S. Gurdev Singh & Sham Sunder Sharma and others were present in the meeting. |
