Jammu, Mar 15 : Karam-hans Foods Pvt. Ltd. today organized a Blood Donation Camp in collaboration with Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu Region, Jammu and Blood Transfusion Department, GMC, Jammu at Bari Brahmana, Jammu.
In his inaugural address R.C. Puri, Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu Region on the occasion appreciated the spirit of discipline, devotion, dedication and enthusiasm. He lauded the initiative taken by women who came forwarded as an inspiring spirit for other women folk in future besides blood donation, awareness programme was also held on this occasion in which Vijaya Sawhney, HOD Blood Transfusion Dept., GMC, Jammu delivered a lecture and asked the participants to come forward for this noble cause by donating blood. About 39 volunteers of M/S Karamhans Foods Pvt. Ltd. donated blood on the occasion. Among others, Sujaiv Jain, Director and Himani Bakshi, Senior Manager, Karamhans Foods Pvt. Ltd. Bari Brahman, Jammu were among donors. |
