| Encroachment of state land going under nose of district, police administration: NPSU | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 15: Showing serious concern over the encroachment of state land around the bank of river Tawi, National Panthers Students Union (NPSU) today said that all this going under the nose of district and police administration. Addressing media persons at party head office, Partap Singh Jamwal (State President NPSU) said that beds along the river tawi especially near Bhagwati Nagar is encroached by some persons. He further said that encroachers even constructed cemented houses there. He further alleged that all this going under noose of police and district administration. Leveling serious allegation against the administration, Partap alleged that criminal silence by the administration over this shows that administration have hand in gloves. Partap added that encroachers even used to sell the encroached land and facilitate the buyers by giving them security for construction. He said that construction near the water body land is prohibited and them how the encroachers manage construction there. He said that most of encroachers managed to register theelves in voter list under the address of encroached land. Partap Singh warned the administration to act on this immediately unless NPSU will launched series of protest to save the river Tawi.
