Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 15: Unemployed Dental Surgeon's Association (UDSA) has demanded the government to fill up the vacant post of dental doctors in different hospitals in Jammu.
Members of association in a meeting said that last PSC recruitment drive was held in 2008 and after that none of the recruitment drive has taken place. They said on one hand, government is opening new medical institutions and on the other hand, there is no proper policy to absorb them neither in government nor in private sector. On one hand, healthcare delivery system in the rural areas requires a proper overhaul and healthcare manpower is not tapped to its maximum.
They urged the government for early redressal to their problems and asked that J&K PSC be directed to start the recruitment drive as early as possible otherwise they will be forced to come to the streets. Those who were present on the occasion included Dr. Asif Iqbal Chowdhary, Dr. Muzamil Khan, Dr. Manoj Sharma, Dr. Manmohan Singh Jamwal, Dr. Gulshan Kumar, Dr. Radha Sharrna, Dr. Komal Sharrna and Dr. Richa Malhotra.
