Jammu, Mar 17: Detention of 3 suspects in chain snatching case sparked protest by the family members of the detained accused demanding their immediate release. As per reports, family members of the detained accused assembled outside the Nehru Market police post and shouted slogans against police department for detaining on the eve of Holi. Sources said that the protesters criticized police for detaining then on the eve of Holi. "Why they detained especially on the eve Holi" protesters questioned. Meanwhile, in-charge police post Mohammand Iqbal pacifed the protesters by referring the excuse that persons were detained by Pacca Danga police. However, he refused to disclose the names of accused persons.
