| DIG Atri reviews security arrangements for LS polls | | | Early Times Report
RAJOURI, Mar 16: During his extensive tours to visit various tehsil headquarters in Poonch district DIG police Rajouri-Poonch range AK Atri, held meetings at Surankot and Poonch to review the security arrangements for the forthcoming polling for Lok Sabha scheduled to be held on April 10.Besides senior police officers the meetings were attended by all the Station House Officers and Police Post in-charges AK Atri has recently joined his duty at Rajouri and was in Poonch district to review security arrangements ahead of parliamentary polls .
DIG asked his officials to remain alert to thwart any sort of unwanted incident ahead of polls. He also asked them to make proper arrangements for the accommodation of security forces that will be deployed in the area for the security during polls.He also said that police should take all sort of steps for ensuring fool proof security arrangements in the campaign rallies that will be held by different political parties in different areas of the district. |
