Jammu, Mar 16 : Police arrested five gamblers and recovered Rs 3500 from their possession.
Police identified the arrested gamblers as Dalher Singh of Gangyal, Charanjeet Singh of Digiana, Lakha Paul, Ram Krishan and Chander Bhan all residents of Rani Talab Digiana.
Police spokesman said that on while on patrolling duty in Rani Talab Digiana area intercepted five Gamblers and seized Rs 3500 as stake money and playing card from the spot. All these accused were booked under 13 Gambling Act. |
