JAMMU, Mar 16: Member AICC and Former Minister Abdul Gani Vakil today in a statement expressed his displeasure and concern over the issuance of revised shortlist by SSRB in respect of Kashmir Division for post of Teachers. The first list of shortlisted candidates was issued on 31st Jan 2014 and now the revised list has been issued on 12th March 2014 and thereby declaring the first list as null and void. He said that cancellation of previous list after more than one month and issuance of a revised one is unprecedented and unjustified. He said that people in general and candidates in particular are anxious to know the facts which are responsible for this action. Vakil said that this act has created confusion in the minds of people especially qualified unemployed youth besides has contributed in eroding the sanctity of SSRB. He asked the Government to get the matter probed and inquired at highest level and put the facts in public domain so that doubts and apprehension of stakeholders are addressed, besides, credibility of recruitment agencies is protected and preserved. Former Minister said that such type of erroneous and doubtful actions cannot be afforded in a sensitive state like J&K where educated unemployed youth are prone to exploitation at the hands of anti-national elements. |
