| Dr Nirmal to oversee LS elections in J&K: Khanna | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 16: Member of Parliament & BJP State Prabhari Avinash Rai Khanna announced the appointment of Ex State President & National Executive Member Dr. Nirmal Singh as Overall Election Incharge of all the six parliamentary seats of the state.
Addressing a press conference here at Jammu jointly with Dr. Nirmal Singh, he said that Dr. Nirmal Singh has vast experience in organizational matters and has the tall stature in the whole state and would be able to lead the party in the election successfully adding that Dr. Singh's role in the assemble elections later this year will also be significant and decisive.
In response to a pointed query Dr Nirmal Singh added that he is a loyal and dedicated soldier of the party and is fully geared to put in utmost efforts in support of the campaign for the party. Avinash Rai Khanna, while briefing about the party's message to the voters to seek their support, said that Jammu and Kashmir is the only state where lakhs of people are living with the tag of refugee with their three generations got perished while fighting for grant of rights enjoyed by rest of the citizens in the state. Making an appeal to vote for BJP and its Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, Khanna said that the nation is yearning for a change and every voter across the country has made up mind to teach Congress a lesson and bring in Modi as next prime minister who is known as a man of development and administrative abilities. |
